When to use Tubifast 2-way stretch

Tubifast 2-way stretch can be used as a dressing retention and skin covering for any part of the body. It can also be used for patch wrapping and as an under-cast stockinette. Because of its tubular construction, Tubifast 2-way stretch is particularly suitable for holding dressings in place on difficult areas.

TubifastĀ® 2-Way Stretchā„¢ is a lightweight elasticated tubular bandage with radial and longitudinal stretch.Ā¹ Itā€™s ideal for dressing fixation and as a skin covering for any part of the body. The bandage can also be used for patch wrapping and as an under-cast stockinette. It is quick and easy to use, with decreased fraying Ā² than traditional tubular bandages.

Ready to wear garments and gloves for dressing retention and to cover skin

TubifastĀ® Garments with 2-Way stretch technologyā„¢ are designed for dressing retention and wet or dry wrapping. These ready-made garments are available in fullsleeved vests, tights, leggings, socks, and gloves for children six months and older. Gloves also comes in adult sizes.

Tubifast Garments do not require tapes, pins or ties and are quick and easy to apply. The two-way stretch construction ensures complete freedom of movement, and the flat seams help prevent irritation to sensitive skin.

Tubifast Garments are comfortable to wear at night and under ordinary clothes, promoting active days and restful nights. They are also washable for continued use.

Tubifast Garments are available for children aged 6 months to 14 years, and the range includes full-sleeved vests, vests with integrated mittens (6-24 months only), tights, leggings, socks and gloves.

The range of garments also includes Tubifast Gloves with 2-way stretch technology, for wet or dry wrapping and dressing retention. These are available in four sizes, and are quick and easy to apply. Allows for freedom of movement.

Tubifast Garments may be used as dressing retention in the management of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and wet or dry wrapping therapy used in the management of atopic eczema.
