Aplicare Povidone-Iodine Paint Stick Sponges

Aplicare Povidone Iodine sponge sticks are 8″ long keeping hands away from the patient prep site. Each package contains two sponge sticks, saturated with a generous amount of Povidone Iodine Paint solution. They are convenient and ready to use as soon as you open the package. The stick sponges have a solid plastic handle with a 2″ x 2″ x1″ foam sponge head. Containing 10% Povidone Iodine Solution, these products have broad-spectrum germicidal action. Povidone Iodine is proven to kill bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, and yeast. The golden brown protective film formed by the solution when air-dried delineates the treated area and provides protection from contamination. It is virtually non-irritating to skin, wounds or mucous membranes. It is virtually non-staining to skin or natural fabrics. Terminally sterilized as the final step in production, both the solution and the applicator are sterile assuring a contamination free product.
