Ceraplus Flat Cut-To-Fit One-Piece Drainable Pouch with Microseal Closure & Extended Wear Barrier

This one-piece, drainable pouching system works with the CeraPlus skin barrier, which soothes the skin with ceramides to fight irritation and transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

How It Works

Equipped with Remois technology*, the CeraPlus skin barrier utilizes ceramides, a naturally occurring substance in the skin to prevent water loss. Through its inclusion here, the CeraPlus barrier helps protect and soothe damaged and eroded peristomal skin and reduce the risk of TEWL. In the process, it retains its adhesive properties without stripping the skin of moisture.

Along with this feature:

• A Lock ‘n Roll microseal closure ensures the pouch remains secure during day-to-day wear through a series of interlocking plastic fasteners.
• Tape border provides a secure, dependable hold during wear.
• Ultra-Clear side – provides an option for the user to monitor the pouch’s contents.
• Cut-to-fit design allows the user to customize the barrier to their stoma.

To Use

To use the CeraPlus Flat Cut-To-Fit One-Piece Drainable Pouch:

1. Assemble all components and tools, including the pouch, disposal bag and cleaning supplies, before removing the existing barrier. For cut-to-fit barriers, have a pen, measuring guide and scissors ready.
2. With the existing system, lift off one corner of the barrier, and peel away from the skin in a downward motion. After, clean and dry the skin.
3. With the new barrier, measure your stoma using the guide, and trace an opening on the barrier to match the dimensions. Note that the barrier should fit exactly to your stoma, rather than show part of the surrounding skin.
4. Once you have found your measurements, cut out the opening, careful to not go beyond the release liner and puncture the pouch.
5. After, remove the release liner from the barrier before you center it over your stoma.
6. After removing the backing paper, apply gentle pressure to the barrier for at least a minute for optimal adhesion.
7. Close the Lock ‘n Roll microseal closure at the bottom of the pouch.
