Uses for Medihoney Honeycolloid Dressings
These non-adhesive wound dressings are indicated for use on:
• Lightly to moderately exuding wounds
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Leg ulcers, including venous stasis and arterial ulcers
• Partial and full thickness pressure ulcers
• First- and second-degree partial thickness burns
• Donor sites
• Traumatic and surgical wounds
Medihoney Honeycolloid dressings are not appropriate for use on:
• Third-degree burns
• Patients with sensitivities to honey or alginates
