3M Tegaderm CHG IV Securement Dressings level up patient comfort and safety while simplifying routine vascular access. These venous catheter securement dressings combine antimicrobial protection, full site visibility, stable adhesion and breathability in one easy-to-use product.
What Is CHG?
CHG is the acronym for Chlorhexidine Gluconate, a substance that stops or slows the growth of microbes and fungus. This antimicrobial substance has been integrated into the gel pads of Tegaderm dressings to prevent bacterial and fungal growth on the skin around an IV site, which can lower the risk of infection.
