Triad hydrophilic wound dressings use a zinc oxide-based paste to absorb low to moderate amounts of fluid. At the same time, the solution once applied helps create a moist healing environment that assists with autolytic debridement and accommodates difficult-to-reach areas.
How Does Triad Hydrophilic Wound Paste Work?
A sterile, latex-free ointment, Triad hydrophilic wound paste helps control light to moderate amounts of exudate. Once applied to the surface of a wound, the paste:
• Creates an ideal healing environment, one allowing for natural debridement.
• Manages challenging areas and wound shapes that traditional dressings can’t fully access or conform to.
• Helps soothe the wound bed with a zinc oxide formula that, at the same time, draws in fluid.
Usage
Triad hydrophilic wound paste is ideal for healing:
• Pressure ulcers
• Venous statis ulcers
• Dermal lesions
• Scrapes and other superficial wounds
• First- and second-degree burns
• Full- and partial-thickness wounds
The wound paste can be used on adults, children and neonates.
Triad hydrophilic wound dressings should not be used to treat third-degree burns or infected wounds.
