How It Works

The SenSura® Mio Flex Maxi features a baseplate separate from the pouch. This arrangement ensures the pouch can be removed and emptied without detaching the barrier and potentially irritating the skin.

Flex coupling securely attaches the pouch to the baseplate while offering a degree of flexibility. In the process, its flat design won’t detach and adapts to the body’s natural shape. Further accommodating patients, flat baseplates come in pre-cut or customizable hole sizes.

The unique full-circle filter includes a pre-filtration process that reduces ballooning up to 61% and protects the carbon and membrane from bodily fluids. As a result, the filter is less susceptible to clogs, offers greater airflow, and helps patients sleep better.
