The Heel Keeper
The Heel Keeper is a comfortable, cost-effective heel and ankle
off-loading device designed to prevent and treat foot, heel, and ankle pressure
injuries.
Find your size: measure the circumference of your ankle just above ankle bones.
Standard: Ankle circumference of 7-10.5 in (18-27cm)
XL/Bariatric: Ankle circumference of >10.5 in (>27cm)

Complete Pressure Relief
- The heel is free-floating, eliminating contact with any potential pressure-inducing surface(s).
- Patients’ feet and heels are uncovered, keeping them cool which improves comfort and increases the time patients wear the device.
- The contoured cushion provides additional protection for the Achilles tendon.
- Full exposure of the foot allows access for dressing changes and facilitates wound and skin inspection.
- Enhanced comfort, improved compliance. The Heel Keepers superior comfort results in a 60% increase in duration of use when compared to off-loading boots.
- Our no-hem design prevents skin irritation of the shin and foot that is common in other products. The Heel Keeper limits exposure of the skin to stitching wherever possible.
Our physician-designed and patented calf-cradling cushion floats the heel above the resting surface to eliminate pressure. As a result, the heel and foot are completely free of any surrounding surface pressure(s), remain uncovered for wound inspection and dressing changes, and the device allows the patient to walk or stand easily without the need for removal. In addition, the Heel Keeper’s flexible design allows for the use of compression stockings, wraps, and devices (SCDs).
