Medine Povidone-Iodine Swabsticks

Povidone-Iodine Swabsticks are a first aid and skin preparation solution offering antimicrobial properties through 10% povidone-iodine USP.

How Do Povidone-Iodine Swabsticks Work?
With three swabs per package, each Povidone-Iodine Swabstick is saturated with a 10% povidone-iodine solution. Application helps reduce the amount of bacteria and microorganisms present on the skin’s surface. This lessens potential infections from existing cuts, burns and scrapes and helps prepare the skin before an incision is made.

Each solution contains 10% povidone-iodine USP, the equivalent of 1% iodine, in line with CDC, AORN and APIC guidelines.

For providing antibacterial action, each Povidone-Iodine Swabstick:

• Delivers broad-spectrum effectiveness against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, viruses, protozoa, yeasts, fungi and other infection-causing pathogens.
• Functions as both an antiseptic and disinfectant.
• Won’t irritate the skin or mucus membranes when applied according to package directions.
• Won’t stain skin or fabric.

Povidone-Iodine Swabsticks are designed to disinfect and provide antibacterial action for the body, including for injuries and incision preparation. This includes:
